Globalprotect Portal Download Mac
This document describes how to download and install the UWM GlobalProtect VPN client on a personal Mac computer. For instructions on how to set up global protect on a University owned machine, see GlobalProtect VPN for macOS - Self Service Setup Instructions.
Note: This client is compatible with OS X 10.9 or later.
To use the Student VPN, you will need to install and use the GlobalProtect client software. This is the software included in the file you downloaded. Before install, make sure that the GlobalProtect.pkg file is located on your Mac. Click the GlobalProtect.pkg under Downloads and a. Select “Download MAC 32/64-bit GlobalProtect.pkg agent 4. Go to the “Downloads” folder and select “GlobalProtect.pkg” and install the application 5. At the Introduction page click Continue 6. Ensure that GlobalProtect is selected on the Custom Install Macintosh HD page then click Continue 7.

Installing the GlobalProtect Client (Mac)
- Open the downloaded file. Proceed through the installation process, you will need to click continue, then continue, then install.
- If you are prompted for your password, type it in. It will look like the image below once you have typed in your password. Then select install software.
- Some users will be prompted with a message saying 'System Extension Blocked.' In this case, select Open Security Preferences then select Allow in the following window.

Download Globalprotect For Mac
UDIT has been working since the onset of the spread of COVID-19 to enhance online services for students, faculty and staff. As of March 23rd, a new VPN solution is available for UDel users. Palo Alto GlobalProtect is a virtual private network (VPN) solution that enables encrypted access to protected resources. This solution will allow staff access to campus resources that require use of University IP addresses or UD VPN IP addresses, such as restricted Webforms, systems on private networks, and other applications.

Important: This solution will not enable access to protected resources and desktops that require static VPN IP addresses or VPN groups when using AnyConnect VPN. Please contact your IT-Pro to determine whether your resources are protected by existing campus network access policies.

- Download the Palo Alto (GlobalProtect) agent for Linux from the right-side column above.
- UD only supports the GUI version of the Palo Alto VPN installer.
